She loved the things he loved, the great outdoors and horses. She loved her Savior Jesus Christ.Ĭharlotte grew up with a great outdoorsman dad. She had faith “Oh how she had faith” to quote her lifelong friend Karen Garr, “If she lost something, she would pray for it” and absolutely believed that God would make it known to her. Never tasting alcohol, or tobacco, and serving others to the point of exhaustion, often anonymously.
Days before she passed while sipping on a Coke Slurpy, mom said “I’ve done everything my Heavenly Father has asked me to do.” And she did. They went on to have lots of beautiful Grandkids (13) and great grandkids (9) that they love dearly.Ī lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, mom had faith in everything. When Reed and Char were first married, she didn’t know what religion Reed was, and on one Sunday, shortly after their marriage, while getting her best dress on, dad asked “Where are you going?” mom responded, “Well, we’re going to church.” And so, it went through their lives of raising four kids, Carlyle, Casey, Alison and Max, we went to Church. Grundy, (her eternal and lifetime companion of 59 years), her parents and her beautiful great granddaughter Oakley. ”Char” was preceded in death by her husband Reed P. Charlotte was born August 30, 1938, to Max and True Hone and has three siblings, Terry “Ter-bear” (Jensen), Leslie “Les” (Robison) and Jessie Max “Jess” Hone. Charlotte True Grundy, our beloved “Granny”, returned to our loving Heavenly Father August 12, 2022.
